1041. Thomas Special 9', 3-piece, # 5 line, 2 tips, 1 tip is 3 1/2" short. bag and tube. I have steel wooled and given rod a light varnish overcoat. Have lawn cast the rod it is a nice DT 5 rod. $700.00

1071. J. Forrest 9', . 2-piece, 1 tip in heavy cloth bag. Rod was made in London, England. I would guess early 1930's. It has a nice crisp action, not like most early English rods that were pretty soft. I have lawn cast it and like it with a DT 5. It is a real nice piece of English Fishing history. $150.00

1077. Farlows Parabolic Sawyer Still Water Model, 9' 6" 1 tip and bag. Rod was made as a 1 tip rod. Rod is in excellent fishable condition. I have lawn cast it and like the rod with a DT 7. It is a perfect streamer rod for steelhead and salmon. $500.00

1078. The Bangor Rod by F.E. Thomas Rod Co., Built about 1930, 8', 2-piece. Heavy casting rod or light trolling rod. The rod showed very little use. But the silk wraps were drying out and the varnish was showing a lot of bag wear. I have refinished the rod. It has agate butt and tip top. The guides are nickle silver tunnel type. We have made a new bag and added a new aluminum tube. It is now ready for fishing or display. $500.00

1093. J. A. Walker ALN Rod Works, Alwnwick England, 9' 3 piece 2 tips in heavy cloth bag. Rod looks like a Hardy and was built in the same town where the Hardy factory is located. It cast a WF5 real nice. Rod is in good usable condition. I would guess it was built late 1930's. One tip is four inches short, but still cast ok. $325.00

1179. Montague Plug Casting Rod, 4' 6" including handle. Rod is in excellent fishable condition for 3/8 oz. plug. All agate guides. $175.00

1180. Lancewood by forrest of Kelso, Scotland, 12', 3-piece, 2 tips all original in good fishable condition. Has it original heavy cloth bag and ferrule plugs. A nice collectable or you may want to try it. ( In A.J. Campbell's book Antique Fly Fishing Tackle page 227. The history of Forrest of Kelso Scotland) $500.00

1182. Silver Lake Casting Rod, 5', 2-piece, 2 tips in wooden form holder. Rod and holder have been professionally refinished and are in A-1 condition to fish or collect. Ferrules and reel seat are nickle silver all guides are agate. $600.00

1185. Edward Quadrate Spinning Rod, 7', 2-piece, 6 to 8 line. Rod is in good fishable condition. $550.00

1188. Edward Quadrate, 5' 5" casting rod. Rod is all original with bag and aluminum tube. A small part of decal is on tube. It is in good useable condition. Ready to fish. $650.00

1191. F E Thomas Special, 7 1/2 Ft. trolling rod, 3-piece, bag and tube. All original has bag tag. Tip is short 3". A nice match for your old casting reel or reel #337 on our reel listing. $300.00

1201. F E Thomas Casting Rod, 6', 2-piece, 2 tips in formed wood holder in canvas bag. All original in fishable condition. A great piece of American rod making history to put with your old meek's reel. $600.00

1203. D&S Co. Hub Special, 8' bait casting rod in formed wood holder, 2 tips. A nice piece of early American rod history in fishable condition or collect. $350.00

1267. Hardy Deluxe, 8' 6", 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod cast a WF 6 real nice. I have steel wool and given rod a light varnish over coat. This is a real nice example of Hardy of England's work. I would guess rod was made 1930"s. It has a serial # 53382. $675.00

1294. Granger Trade Rod, 9', # 7 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. We have made a new bag and varnished all wraps. Rod has nickle silver screwlock reel seat and granger nickle silver ferrules. Rod is ready to fish. I have lawn cast it, the rod is a great streamer rod very smooth and powerful feeling. $275.00

1309. Bamboo Casting Rod, 6', 1-piece. I would guess it was made by Montague or H-I. Is in excellent useable condition . For up to 10 lb line and 3/8 oz. lures. $150.00

1365. Montague, 7'4", 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod has been restored with new nickle silver super Z style ferrules and Garrison style handle and reel seat. Rod was original 8', the butt was shortened creating a stagered ferrule design. It has a long ferrule plug for use when in the tube. I have lawn cast the rod it's real nice with a DT 5 line. $450.00

1379. C.W. Jenkins & Son, 8' classic model # 5 to 6 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. I have lawn cast the rod it is a great all around rod. It cast 25 ft. or 60 ft. real nice. Rod shows very little use, looks almost new. $1475.00

1443. Wanigas supreme, 8' 6", # 6 to 7 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod was made mid 1950's. The Wanigas Rod Co. was located in Saginaw and owned and operated by Are Neumann. Art was one of the original founders of Trout unlimited and it's first Vice president. He is the man who made TU a national wide organization. One tip had a hook nick that had been repaired with epoxy. I do not think it will cause any problem. Nice piece of history. $995.00

1448. Spey Rod 14', 3-piece, # 9 line. Rod was made in Norway. It is in good fishable condition. Rod is one tip in heavy cloth bag. $500.00

1449. Ted Simroe, 8' # 5 to 6 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod looks new it may of been fished once. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 5. Ted has many years of rod building experience with the Leonard Rod Co. and now builder on his own. $1275.00

1453. Montague 9', 3-piece, # 6 line, 2 tips in cloth bag. Has been refinished. I would guess it was a Montague, no name on it now. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 6 $100.00

1470. Gene Edwards Autographed, 8 1/2', #6 to 7 line, 2 tips, bag and tube all original in good fishable condition. I have lawn cast the rod and like it with a WF 6. My research shows the rod was made about 1946. Will come with a signed letter from Sam Carlson on this rod. $1050.00

1471. Montague Redwing, 9', # 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod is in excellent condition ready to fish. The rod shows very little use. The handle even has some of the clear plastic covering on it. It is unusual to find such good labels as on the tube and rod. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 6. It is a very smooth casting rod. $350.00

1484. Shakespeare 9', # 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Rod is in good fishable condition. I steel wooled and gave it a light varnish oveercoat. $250.00

1487. No Name, 8' 6", # 5 to 6 line. Rod has Granger nickle silver ferrules. The butt is darker heat treated than the mid and tip. All piece full length. It is in good fishable condition. I have lawn cast it and it is a nice casting rod with a DT 5. $125.00

1503. Montague or H I, In nice restored condition. Rod has Granger nickle silver ferrules and bag and aluminum tube. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 6. A lot of rod for the price. $125.00

1506. Wright & McGill Stream & Lake Model, 8' 6", # 5 to 6 line. Rod was made after Wright & McGill purchased the Granger Rod Co., the rod is really a Granger. It lawn cast a WF 5 like a dream. I rewrapped the famale ferrule on the mid section. The rod shows very little use. It may of only been fished once or twice. $750.00

1507. Goodwin Granger Champion, 9', # 5 to 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube, rod is in excellent fishable condition and shows little use. The aluminum tube is a newer replacement, the original tube was cardboard. I have lawn cast this rod and could really enjoy it on some of our wider rivers where it's important to mend your line. The 9' lifts a lot of line clear of the water for a good mend. $650.00

1525. Wes Cooper, 8', # 5 to 6 line, 2-piece, bag and tube. Rod shows very little use looks like new. It did get a hook nick in one tip and was professionally repaired and has a safety wrap. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 5. $550.00 On Hold

1530. Brian Ciesielczyk, 8', 6", #5 to 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. Brian is a retired school teacher living in the upper peninsula of Michigan. He builds a few rods a year and does a real nice job. He uses the best hardware, nicklesilver Z style ferrules. This rod has a nickle silver and maple reel seat by R E C. The butt guide is Mildrurm Carbride. I have lawn cast the rod and it's real nice with a WF 6. Rod is in exdcellent like new condition. $775.00

1532. Ron Kusse Special, 8', 6 to 7 wt. line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube and removeable extension butt with uplock reel seat. I have lawn cast the rod and it's real nice for me with a WF 6. the rod looks like new. Click the white square and picture will come up. $2250.00

907. Hardy L.R.H. Wet Fly Rod, 9', 2 tips, bag and tube. Mid section is 1 1/2" short. I have given rod a light varnish over coat. On the lawn the rod cast a DT 5 real nice. It is a good rod for small wet flies and nynphs. This is a perfect match for a Hardy L.R.H reel. Such as # 367 on our reel secton. $550.00

965. Montague, 8' 6", # 6 line, 2tips, bag and wooden tip holder. Rod was made for Eastern Cost Tackle. Cane is nicety heat treated to a golden brown. Rod shows very little use. I have lawn cast it and like it with a WF 6. $150.00
