0006. Stanley Miter Saw, 7' X 30" saw. If you want to cut accurate angles by hand this is the saw for you. I have owned it for twenty years or so. I have two of them one must go to make some room. $100.00

photo one  photo two  photo three   003. Floating Fishing knife, Blade is marked master craft made in Italy on one side of blade on the other is stainless Brev 37340. The blade is locked open but is released when the ring is pulled. The other blade is a can opener, a screw driver and file. The sides are cork. The knife is from a estate of a Paul H. Young Co. customer from the 1950's. It is a very unusal knife for the collector or user. $75.00

LEATHER ROD TUBES, We are now offering a fine leather rod tube as a option in place of our brass capped aluminum tube or we will take in trade your old tube toward one of these new leather tubes. These leather tubes are custom made for us by Galco International LTD of Phoenix Arizonia. Galco is best known for its fine leather accessories for the shooting sport. These tubes are made to the same high standard that Galco is known for in the shooting industry. They use the best chestnut latigo leather , solid brass hardware and aluminum tube inside the leather, with our name embossed on the out side of tube. 1 1/2" inside diameter aluminum. On a new rod deduct $75.00 from our rod price and add $335.00 for a leather tube. $335.00

photo one  photo two  64A. Paul H. Young Flat Creel, Same as #63A but a smaller size and without the cloth boder. These were used as a smaller creel or attached to the larger creel and used as a accessorie bag. These are rare, not many were made. $100.00

photo one  photo two  photo three   photo four   67. Trout Net, We have this net for sale from the estate of Dick Charlton. Dick was one of Paul Young and Lyle Dickerson most loyal customer. I met Dick about 1956 when I started working at the Paul Young Co. He owned his own business in Detroit and purchased lots of fly tackel at the Young store, also own alot of Dickerson rods. In my opinion this net was made by Paul Young or Lyle Dickerson. It has characteristices of both nets. I am learning toward it being a Dickerson because of a letter e that is still visible in the area where Dickerson signed his nets. I have a few signed Dickerson and a Paul Young in my collection. The wood in the bow frame is oval shaped as the signed Dickerson's have. I believe the net was made late 1930's. The net bag is not original. $400.00

The Legend Of Rainbow Jim by Orie Wells, Orie Wells is the grandson of Rainbow Jim and has written this book about Jim's life as a fishing guide on Michigan Big Manistee River. As a teenager Orie spent his summers helping Jim in the guiding business. He has many tales to tell about the trips and clients Jim took down the river. The book also covers the logging that took place around the town of Fife Lake and along the Manistee River. This first printing is for 500 books signed and numbered. The Manistee River is one of my favorite rivers. I fish it about twenty days a year. It is about thrity minutes drive from my house on the Boardman River.
