Set of three rods, fly, spin and casting all three rods are in good usable condition.  They are built on the stager ferrule design, first promoted by Charles Ritz in France.  Mr Ritz worked with the Pezon Michel bamboo rod makers  in Amboise, France where he developed the stager ferrule design.  He believe that fiber glass was the closest material to good bamboo.  This led to him working with the Conolon Company in California in the fifty's.  Here is the result.  I have lawn cast the fly rod it's a real nice  6 wt. for me.  I have made spacers for each rod as Pitz did for there cane stager ferrule rods.  To learn more about Charles Ritz get his book "A Fly Fishers Life", firts published in 1959 later addition 1967.
