7’ # 4 line 2 piece 1 tip bag & tube Phil could not see why you needed 2 tips I met Phil in 1992 while on a trip to the White River in Arkansas. with Eric Jeska Eric met Phil in 1991 and was so impressed with his Rods that we went back in 1992 And spend 3 days with Phil Fishing the White and talking. rod building at his home and shop in Mountain Home Arkansas He also directed us to some great spots on the White & Northfork. Phil was a first rate craftman & rod builder mostly self taught. he did learn a lot from the Everett Garrison book By Hoagy Carmichael He made Flamed rods & light colored ones like the Garrison rods. We have one of each for sale both the same taper 7’ #4 line I have lawn cast both rod s They are what most people would call a dry fly action. but not tipy I can tell these rod were made by a Fly fisherman
