Art was the first sectary of Trout Unlimited when it was founded in 1959 I first met Art when he visted the Paul Young Co. in Detroit. to buy the bamboo blanks he used to make his rods When i get a Wanigas rod in for repair or to sell it brings back memorys. Of Art visting the shop and watching me work on. rods. Starting in 1956. We became life long friends. Art made this rod useing the Paul Young Midge blanks. That I would of made Some time between 1956 & mid. 1960s. I have lawn cast it & its a little casting machine Its all orginal And shows very little use
