#29108-7. Sam. Carlson 7'

$2,400.00

7’. # 4 line 2 piece 2 tips bag and tube Thomas Browntone. This is one of the early. rods Sam made after he aquired the F E Thomas rod shop in 1958. Sam was allready building rods with his own equipment. And had many years of rod building experence Starting in 1926 with the E W. Edwards & Son Sweeping the the shop floor He was 12 years old. Much like I did in 1956 with Paul H Young. In Detroit My research shows that Sam debated About. useing just the The Thomas Browntone Name or his Name This rod was befor adding the Carlson name After lawn casting it I liked it so much I fished it in the Boardman useing both wf.4. & 3 lines. with 9’. 6x & # 16 adam s. It was a little windy so a Wt. 4 worked best This is a great piece of American rod making history to fish and collect
