7 1/2', # 4 to 5 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube.  Tim was a life long friend of Lyle Dickerson.  When Lyle decided to give up the rod making at the age of  eighty , he sold the shop to Tim Bedford.  Tim moved it from Bellaire , Michigan to Oakland, California .  He made a few rods as a hobby.  Tim was a engineer  working mainly  in the  automobile industry .  Tim and Lyle both

both visited my shop and we had a lot of great talks  about rod building this is

a fine examples of Tim's work and would be a nice addition to a rod collection.  Rod shows very little use it does have the name of the person Tim made it for and dated 1984  on the rod..  You can learn more of Tim  in the book "Dickerson The Man I& his Rods"  by Gerald Stein MD and     James Schaaf.  The rod is in a Arne Mayson leather tube.  

We will sell the leather tube separate fpr $300.00.  It looks like new and list for $425.00.  This will reduce  the price of the rod  to $1,200.   and will put it in a aluminum tube.
