8'6", # 5 to 6 line, 3-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube. I refinished this rod about fifteen years ago. It may of been fished once since. The rod was built in 1933 for a lady. It is dated and has her name on it. There are two different tips light and heavy this would of been a special order. This was a more common request in the days before nylon leader material. In 1933 the tippet to fish a sixteen fly had about 1/4 lb. test. So the lighter tip bent before breaking the tippet. The lady and her husband who had this rod built were Dickerson's biggest single customer. I can see them having many discussion and fish tales about rods. One of the strangest they had atlantic salmon rods painted sky blue to camouflage them. I had one of these about twenty years ago. So I can see how these two different tips came about. I have lawn cast this rod and it's a great rod with both 5 and 6 wit lines for me. The rod is in excellent condition to fish or collect.
