Dear Fellow Fisherman,

It is time for the annual Fly Rod raffle to benefit the Boardman River. This is the 20th year I have donated a rod. This year it is my 6'2" midge deluxe for a #4 line, A two tip bag, and tube valued at $2,365.00. Since the removal of the Brown Bridge dam in August of 2012 we have done a lot of work restoring the part of the river that was a 200 acre pond. There is still a lot of work left. If you would like to help and maybe win the rod please make a check out for as many tickets as you would like. They are $10.00 each and only 1000 tickets were printed. Bonus! If you buy 10 tickets and win I will take you on a Fly Fishing Float trip on the Boardman River. We will use a AuSable River boat that was owned by George Griffith. He was the main founder of Trout Unlimited. I fished with him for 25 years using this boat. The trip will last 6+ hours. 

The winning ticket will be drawn on Sept. 24th, 2016 at 4 pm at the Boardman River Nature Center, Cass Road, Traverse City. You do not have to be present to win the rod.
