The rod is from a large collection & somehow tubes got mixed up I refinished this rod about 15 years ago I dont think its been fished since I have lawn cast it & like it with 7&8 lines Its a casting machine for big streamers and big drys The rod was built durning the time of Wes Jordan at South Bend Wes started his rod makeing at the Cross rod Co.in Vermont When South Bend purchased The Cross Co. Wes moved to South Bend And became head rod builder When South Bend gave up bamboo Wes moved back to Vermont And became Orvis head rod builder This is a very well built rod It has nickle silver ferrule uplock reel seat and half wells handle I have lawn cast it and like it with both 7&8 Wt. lines Its a casting machine for big streamers & big drys # 10 gray wullfs ect.
