8', # 5 line, 2-piece, 2 tips, bag and tube.  Tube is made from aluminum conduit left over from the Willow Run Bomber plant near Detroit.  Where the B 24 Liberators were built, 8,685 of them.  At Peak production a complete bomber was assembled in one hour.  The book " Arsenal of Democracy by A.J. Baime".  tells how this happened.  Rod was built 1953.  I refinished it in November of 2012 including new cork.  This is one of the rarest  of the Paul Young model's.  It is one of the best 5 wt. rods I  have ever cast.  I worked for the Paul Young Co starting in 1956 till 1974 and would guess there were no more than twelve of this model made.
