9' 4/49oz., #6 to7 line.If you want a piece of Paul Young's finest work this is it.  It is all original never had any repairs.  Paul built it in 1950 for his son Paul A. Young.  Paul A. Young's name is on rod.  Their is a lot of writing by Paul Sr. on tlhe rod.  This is a rare Young model.  I would quess their were only a dozen or so made and to find one in this condition is really rare when I look at the writing I can rememvber watching Paul writing on a rod. When we got it ready for varnishing.  This would of been in the late 1950's.  I started working with him in 1956.  I can also picture Paul jr. fishing this rod in Michigan's Au Sable River.  He was a very good fisherman.  I will include a photo of him.  I took while we were night fishing about 1980 for brown's during our hex hatch.
