8’, # 5 to 6 line. I built this rod in January 1966 while working at the Paul Young Co. in Detroit January was a good time to be working on rods. I sold the rod for the original owner about ten years ago an refinished it about five years ago for the present owner who is in . his seventy’s and think’s it’s time to trim down his rod collection. The rod is in excellent condition and and ready for some one to take it to their favorit river. I’m going to fish the Boardman river with it in the next few days with’s thoughts about how I made the rod fifty two years ago. I was twenty eight years old then, I am seventy nine now.
