It cast a 4 to 5 wt. line and has the back bone to keep a 12” brookie out of a log jam I have lawn cast this rod With a DT 4 it will lay out 60 ft easy About 20 years ago I Fished the Driggs river with a friend He had a Driggs rod like this one With a little Hardy St George and a SA Wt.Wt. F 5 He even cut a little off the front end makeing it a little more WF. with a 7 1/2 ft. leader and Drys & Wets up to size 10 Most of the casts were about 25 Ft.
