Rod is all original built 1950 except I have added two removable extensions one is 1 inch and one is 5 inch. They are my design and make and threaded instead of a ferrul fit. The handle with two thumb rests and the writing is by Paul Young dated 1950 with the original owners name on rod. The rod shows very little use it's been in a large collection for the last 30 years or so.I have lawn cast it and like it with both 8 & 9 wt lines this is paul young at his best building a rod for big flys and big fish it is a very smooth & powerfull feeling rod
