7’2” #4 to 5 line 2 piece 2 tips bag # tube I have made 2 new tips , cork handle & refinished butt The writing is 90% orginal by Paul Young I had to touch it up in a few spots The bag & tube Are orginal The rod was made in 1954 & is dated on rod with orginal owners name Barney Fisher Dallas apr.1954 Barney was a friend of Pauls They designed a spinning rod And called it the Barney Fisher model It was cataloged starting about 1952 Paul Young designed the Driggs River Special , After fishing the Driggs in Michigans Upper Peninsula The Driggs is a small brush covered river were 10” & bigger brook trout live This rod has enough back bone to keep them out of brush piles Maybe Barney came to Michigan & fished the Driggs with this rod
