7’ 6” # 5 to 6 line 2 tips bag & tube Rod was built in April 1956 this was the year I started working with Paul Young as a after school job Paul designed this model for his wife Martha Marie and named it after her She was a very good caster & fisherlady I rember her telling me how she asked Paul to make her arod a little stronger than the Perfectionist That was a 13/64 ferrule The Martha Marie is 14/64 ferrule This maybe the worlds best all around 7 1/2 ft rod I like it with a WF. 5line some like it with a6 Wt. I refinished this rod about 6 years ago It shows very little use since I kept all the orginal writing by Paul Young
