Dt. & Wf. lines The orginal owner Tom lived & worked in Chicago He visted the Young shop in Detroit were I first met him about 1957 while working with Mr. Young He was a very serious caster And spent a lot of time discussing rod actions with Mr. Young Tom also complained about living & working in Chicago He saidI am going to change my life style He did he moved to Montana got a job in a fly shop & became a fly fishing guide in 1960 About 1985 I was on a fishing trip to Montana and ran into Tom on the Madison river He was giveing casting lessons to a couple A couple years later he fractured the dry tip He sent it to me I repaired it & made a new dry tip It is a little lighter than the regular dry tip Tom liked it for 6& 7 x leaders At this time I rewraped & replaced the cork handle & reelseat Tom has passed on He gave the rod to his fishing buddy He ha s asked us to find a good fisherman for Toms rod
