Starting in 1956 The Martha Marie is one of the best 7 1/2 ‘ 5 wt. rods ever Paul designed it for his wife Martha Marie She asked for a rod with a little more power than the 4 wt. perfectionist After making the new tip I rewraped all guides and gave rod a light varnish overcoat It is now ready for many years of use
