Rod was asembled after i left the co.. in 1974 I may of built the blanks the rod shows very little use It has a hand rubed oil finished The handle had a spaced grip I felt the spaces were too wide So I made a handle as I did for 17 years while working at the Paul Young C0. If wanted I can grind the spaces in to make a spaced grip The Driggs was designed by Paul Young after fishing the Driggs river in Michigans upper pensular A river famous for its Brook trout. ITs a narrow river 40’ or so with brush jams and some 4’ deep holes The Driggs has enough backbone to keep a12” brookie out of a brush pile Yet it will cast aDT 4 line 60’ with ease
