I worked on this rod with Mr. Young in 1957 It was sent to Buz in July of 1957 . Buz realy loved Young rod s he had 5 of them 3 being Para.15s One para 17 & one Martha Marie. Mrs. Young s pet project was selling great fly tieing material. she purchased. necks & finished flys from Buz When a box arrived We would admired the necks and Buz s flys Hazel Johnson The in house Fly Tyer. showed me how she could tye faster & better flys with Buz s hackle The F F I Recognizes Buzs work & contribution to the fly fishing world. With a award in his name to some one who also contritbutes to the care of our rivers and fly fishing. The rod is in excllent condition. ready to fish
